Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Manager of Media & Marketing to lead strategic initiatives in media planning, digital marketing, and brand communication. This on-site role, located in Chicago, IL, involves leading the creative and strategic direction of our brand across all platforms (real estate development, interior design, and millwork). This role is equal parts strategist and hands-on creator—ideal for someone who can conceptualize campaigns, write scripts, shoot footage (including drone), and bring stories to life through high-quality video content and editing.
You’ll oversee marketing initiatives while also producing visually engaging media that showcases our projects, process, and brand identity.
Digital & Social Media
- Oversee social media strategy and execution (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Manage website content and visual assets
- Identify trends and opportunities to expand digital presence
Content Creation & Media Production
- Conceptualize, write, and produce video content from start to finish
- Write compelling scripts for property showcases, brand storytelling, and social media
- Operate cameras and drone equipment to capture high-quality footage
- Lead post-production editing, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics
- Maintain a consistent visual and narrative style across all media
Creative Direction
- Direct photoshoots and video shoots for properties and interiors
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and external vendors
- Ensure all content reflects the firm’s aesthetic and brand standards
Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals
- Manage brand positioning across digital, print, and social platforms
- Plan and oversee campaign launches for new developments and design projects
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for growth and engagement
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, media production, video editing, or a related field
- Proven experience in script writing and video storytelling
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Experience operating professional camera equipment and drones (FAA certification preferred)
- Deep understanding of branding, content strategy, and digital marketing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video production and creative direction work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
