- Job Title: Manager of IT Applications - IFS ERP
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
The Manager of IT Applications – IFS ERP will be responsible for the support and enhancement of the IFS ERP platform at Monarch. This role will lead internal and external/offshore teams and consulting partners while collaborating with business users to ensure the IFS platform remains stable, scalable, and continuously enhanced to meet business requirements.
This position reports to the Director of IT and is based at Monarch’s headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires in-office presence 4–5 days per week, with occasional travel to field locations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, including system optimization, integrations, reporting, and upgrades. This key role supports the company’s growth strategy and ongoing technology modernization initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Advanced degree preferred
Experience
- 7+ years managing IFS Cloud environments within field or manufacturing organizations
- Experience leading at least one IFS ERP cloud implementation with multiple modules, including: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Employee Master, Operations – Field Based Work Orders, Quick Reports, and Lobbies
- Strong knowledge of: PL/SQL, IFS Cloud, IFS Aurena, Business Reporter, IFS Mobile Applications, Data Migration, Custom Configurations, and Quick Reports
- Exposure to: Power BI, Novacura, Arbor Note, TrailD, ADP, Salesforce, Tibco, and Boomi
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology modernization projects with measurable business impact
- Experience leading ERP, CRM, and Financial Systems implementations or migrations
- Familiarity with AI tools or automation platforms that extend ERP functionality
- Preferred consulting and corporate IT background
- Industry experience in landscape, field tech, construction, and/or multi-unit retail or distribution
- Experience with post-M&A technology integration
- Experience working across portfolio, multi-unit, or multi-company environments
- Ability to represent IT leadership in enterprise forums, steering committees, and cross-functional initiatives

- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel 10–20%
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead development, support, and integration of IFS ERP with other applications
- Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and HR teams on technology requirements, code changes, testing, and deployments
- Ensure solutions follow industry best practices and support strong user adoption
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and external partners on projects and ongoing support
- Lead setup and data integration for newly acquired companies
- Build SOPs, playbooks, and reporting frameworks for IFS maintenance and monitoring
- Partner with business and IT leadership on technology and process strategy
- Mentor team members and identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation
- Serve as vendor liaison and maintain vendor management practices
- Work effectively in a matrixed environment using subject matter expertise and data-driven decision-making
- Act as a point of contact for audit and regulatory matters related to managed projects
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and customer-focused service
- Improve end-user effectiveness through training, adoption, and support initiatives
- Continuously expand expertise in IFS ERP software functionality and best practices
- Participate in IT governance, budgeting, and headcount planning exercises

Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000 + bonus
