Job Description Contingent upon contract award to BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems and subsequent task orders.
Seeking a Plans and Strategy Lead (PSL) for a dynamic U.S. Intelligence Community effort ensuring seamless execution of critical planning and strategy initiatives. This position requires broad expertise in the Joint Planning Processes and COCOM processes to evolve U.S. Intelligence Community participation and input into U.S. Intelligence Community exercises and transition desired strategies into daily operations. The PSL focuses on the quality of the training the exercises provide and the follow-on implementation of that training into procedures, orders, plans, tools, and crew qualification products.
As the Plans and Strategy Lead, you will apply broad expertise of the Joint Planning Processes and
COCOM processes to evolve U.S. Intelligence Community participation and input into U.S.
Intelligence Community exercises and transition desired strategies into daily operations. Your
primary focus will be on ensuring the quality of the training the exercises provide and the follow-on
implementation of that training into procedures, orders, plans, tools, and crew qualification products.
The position will reside organizationally within the Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA)
Strategic Capabilities Unit which comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that
enables the successful delivery of high impact discriminating technologies for our customers’

What You’ll Do: - Leading and directing the development and implementation of planning strategies to
enhance U.S. Intelligence Community exercises and operations. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Joint Planning Processes and COCOM
processes expertise. - Analyzing and resolving complex planning problems related to U.S. Intelligence Community
exercises and operations. - Developing and managing the training regime for personnel to ensure proficiency with
existing and nascent tools. - Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior planners and analysts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant planning processes and procedures.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - BS/BA in related field plus 12 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- A current, active TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance is required.
- At least seven (7) years combined experience in U.S. Intelligence Community and/or DoW exercises and planning process.
- At least two (2) years combined of relevant ops-floor and/or project management experience working with IC organizations and Combatant Commands.
- Relevant experience working with IC organizations.
