A well-capitalized owner/developer of utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure is seeking a Manager, Execution Engineering to support the design and execution of large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects moving from late-stage development into construction.
This position serves as a technical quarterback across project execution, working cross-functionally with development, procurement, commercial, and construction teams while managing EPC contractors and engineering partners.
You will help lead projects from pre-NTP through construction, owning technical coordination, design basis development, EPC interface management, and execution support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead execution engineering efforts for utility-scale solar and storage projects
  • Support projects moving from development into construction execution
  • Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Participate in technical aspects of EPC contracts, change orders, and risk management
  • Support design reviews, value engineering, constructability reviews, and equipment decisions
  • Help establish project design basis, technical scopes, and performance requirements
  • Evaluate technical decisions through the lens of cost, schedule, risk, and commercial impact
  • Support procurement and owner-furnished equipment strategies
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning as needed

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in utility-scale renewables project engineering, execution engineering, or engineering project management
  • Strong experience with solar PV projects; BESS exposure highly valued
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background preferred
  • Medium-voltage systems experience required
  • Experience working with EPC contractors through design and execution
  • Understanding of constructability, technical risk, and project delivery
  • Ability to operate independently in a cross-functional stakeholder environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
