Manager, Brand Partnerships Marketing (Temporary)

The Brand Partnerships Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns, events, and brand activations designed to drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance visibility for Caruso properties and partners. This individual will set marketing goals, track performance, and provide comprehensive recaps with actionable insights to optimize results. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Property Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Leasing, Creative, Digital, Loyalty, PR, Events and Operations to promote offerings through various channels, oversee creative requests and property signage, and support the execution of brand partnership events. Additionally, the manager will support new brand partnerships, research innovative sponsorship opportunities, and create compelling materials for business development. The role also involves managing client relationships, maintaining marketing budgets, and ensuring a seamless experience for partners and clients with digital/social content capture specific to brand partners activations and events, as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing or advertising, particularly in account management, and experience working with top consumer brands across industries such as entertainment, automotive, and lifestyle. This person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple projects, and consistently exceed expectations by delivering impactful, data-driven marketing solutions. This is a temporary position that will run through mid-December 2026.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and implement impactful marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences to drive traffic and sales at our properties and partner activations
  • Ideate, pitch, integrate, support and/or execute Caruso Signature loyalty benefits and exclusive experiences to impactful brand partnership events and activations
  • Set marketing goals, track campaign effectiveness, and provide detailed performance recaps with actionable insights
  • Contribute to the execution of brand partnership events and activations alongside the Events team, ensuring smooth delivery from concept to completion
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Creative, Digital, PR, and Leasing to effectively promote offerings through diverse channels (digital, print, OOH)
  • Manage creative requests for timely promotion of marketing events and offers and oversee property signage including window graphics and out-of-home advertising
  • Support or lead the development of new brand partnerships across the portfolio
  • Track participation in events, loyalty program, seasonal campaigns, and retail holidays
  • Maintain marketing budgets, process invoices, and attend property team meetings
  • Support Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Events and Activations across portfolio
  • Research successful (non-traditional) sponsorship/partnership marketing/entertainment programs developed by quality brands including sports marketing, entertainment, TV show, retailers, etc.
  • Develop unique and compelling materials for use by Brand Partnerships and Leasing
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with client accounts and ensure satisfaction to foster ongoing partnerships
  • Help create big consumer branded sponsorship programs and initiatives (studio, consumer product good goods, technology/lifestyle brands, etc.) that extend to multiple properties with brands that enhance both the Caruso brand and the guest experience
  • Capture and analyze data to evaluate campaign success, using tools like NPS for engagement insights
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, staff and third-party vendors to drive innovative marketing solutions
  • Works well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines in a professional, calm, collegial manner


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Highly creative, able to generate innovative ideas that connect brands to consumers with great experiences that align with brand strategy
  • Ability to link great creativity to strategy, demographic needs, research, creative brief directives
  • Ability to develop beautiful proposals, complete with our venue/reach value proposition, ideas right for the client and its brand essence and strategy, overview of target demographic, budget, timeline, metrics
  • Strong execution skills and attention to flawless detail
  • Proficient in budgeting and managing project finances efficiently
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign; experience with Canva, Figma and Digideck is a plus
  • Understanding of print media processes
  • Familiar with fashion, retail industry, and pop-culture trends; knowledge of the Los Angeles market and trends is advantageous
  • Understanding of digital, influencer, and social media marketing strategies; knowledge of the Los Angeles market and trends is a plus
  • Strong multi-tasking ability and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a marketing/advertising agency with Fortune 500 consumer brand clients
