What you need:
Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology Req Or
Associate's Degree Preferred
1 Year clinical experience in mammography Preferred or
meet the mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2). Preferred
License and Certification:
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire Required And
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire Preferred Or
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months Required And
GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
Skills:
Ability to produce high quality mammography with special views as directed by the radiologist, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
