The Short Scoop:

A respected Milwaukee manufacturing team is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and getting systems back up and running. This role is ideal for someone who sees maintenance as a long-term trade or career path and takes pride in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems such as switches, sensors, and control components. If you enjoy interpreting wiring diagrams, resolving equipment issues, and working directly with production equipment, this opportunity puts your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to work every day.


Location: Milwaukee, WI

Status: 1st Shift 6 am – 2:30 pm, OT is time and ½.

Compensation range $32.30 - Max $43.00


What you’ll be doing


  • Diagnose, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance across foundry, machining, injection molding, and other production equipment
  • Work closely with contractors and engineering staff on new systems and machine enhancements
  • Use technical documentation and OEM specs to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Keep parts inventories up to date and downtime to a minimum

About You

  • Maintenance professional who sees this trade as a long-term career path (apprenticeship training or technical coursework a plus)
  • Comfortable interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics to diagnose equipment breakdowns
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems such as switches, sensors, and control components
  • Hands-on technician who enjoys solving equipment problems rather than managing people
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong email communication
  • Able to work safely with low-voltage systems and in tight mechanical spaces
  • PLC or automation exposure is helpful but not required
