Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II/Machine Repair Technician Level 2/ Manufacturing Technician II

Work Location: 1 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045 (100% Onsite)

Duration: 3–6 Months Contract (Contract-to-Hire possible based on performance & business needs)

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Sunday : Every 5 days in a week)

Must be available for weekdays and weekends as required.

Role Overview

Join Client Aerotech as a Machine Repair Technician Level 2 responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing complex Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) systems and related mechanical and electrical equipment. The role includes performing scheduled and emergency maintenance, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation within the CMMS system while supporting airport operational safety and reliability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) systems, controls, and related equipment.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
  • Document maintenance activities and input data into CMMS systems.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
  • Complete preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) maintenance documentation.
  • Operate equipment including golf carts, company vehicles, and forklifts.
  • Respond quickly to operational issues including baggage jams.
  • Follow company safety programs and required trainings.

  1. Strong mechanical skills
  2. Troubleshooting experience
  3. Electrical maintenance experience


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain required security clearance.
  • 3–5 years of maintenance operations experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with 480V and 3-phase motors.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair experience.
  • Familiarity with airport operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with passenger boarding bridges or conveyance systems.
  • Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, project tools, and CMMS software.


Physical Demands

  • Standing, walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces.
  • Ladder work required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Work outdoors in airport ramp environments around aircraft and conveyor systems.
  • Requires strong vision capabilities and hand-eye coordination.


Work Environment

  • Airport operational environment with vehicle traffic and heavy equipment.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, outdoor weather, fumes, chemicals, vibration, and loud noise.
  • Work performed around aircraft and baggage conveyor systems.
