POSITION SUMMARY:
Prioritize safety and adhere to best practices at all times. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair physical plant utilities, including but not limited to electrical (high and low voltage), compressed air, plumbing, HVAC, and vacuum systems.
Support production automation equipment including mixers and powder presses. Equipment readiness and production uptime is critical. The ideal candidate is an experienced, methodic troubleshooter who takes pride in performing high-quality work

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
AAS Degree or *equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a production manufacturing environment. Requires familiarity with PC based data collection methods and Microsoft Windows operating environment.
Must have a working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems/components.
Electro-mechanical skills, ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and fluid power breakdowns on manufacturing and facility equipment.
Basic Computer Experience (PC based) data collection methods and Microsoft Windows operating environment.
*Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
Preferred -Not Required *:
•Experience working on EX rated equipment or within hazardous environments
•Humidity control systems equipment
•Powder handling in manufacturing environments
•Ability to develop technical documentation (drawings, instructions, procedures)
•Experience with job tracking/scheduling and parts inventory
•Train others in procedures and proper methods
•PLC programming (ladder logic)
•Experience moving, installing, and starting up new equipment
•Project leadership experience
•Documented HAZWOPER and safety training
•Computer skills – Proficiency in MS Excel
WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work will take place in a combination office/shop environment often without climate control. Work will include occasional weekends and holidays, as well as require the candidate to be on-call for special instances. During the duties of this job, employees will be exposed to mechanical or chemical processes requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure, and lift up to 60 pounds.
