What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot & Conquer:Keep our high-speed lines (rollers, conveyors, saws, slitters) running at peak performance.
  • Master the Machine:Perform full tear-downs and rebuilds of critical industrial equipment.
  • Electrical & Controls:Work with 480V power, panel wiring, VFDs, and servos. You’ll assist with Siemens PLC fault-finding and control logic.
  • Fluid Power:Maintain and repair complex pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Precision Craft:Utilize blueprints and schematics daily, and use your skills on mills, lathes, and basic welding to keep the plant moving.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience:3–5 years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge:Strong mechanical repair skills and a solid grasp of basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Analytical Mind:The ability to read schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues before they cause downtime.
  • Reliability:A consistent work history that shows you’re a pro who shows up for your team.
  • Education:High school diploma required; Technical school or military training is a huge plus!

Work Environment

This is a "real-deal" manufacturing plant. You’ll be working around heavy equipment, robotic systems, and forklifts. Because we are an active shipping hub, the facility temperature fluctuates with the seasons—you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting that keeps you on your move. This is 3rd Shift from 11 pm - 7 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FRANKLIN PARK, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
