Maintenance Technician:

We're seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and ownership of equipment performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and making continuous improvements to keep operations running safely and efficiently.



Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and packaging equipment to support reliable operations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, escalating more complex problems when needed
  • Monitor equipment conditions by checking pressures, temperatures, and other operating indicators to identify potential issues before they lead to downtime
  • Complete maintenance tasks with a high level of precision, including proper lubrication, belt and chain tensioning, and torque-to-specification requirements
  • Utilize the CMMS system to create, update, and close work orders while accurately documenting failure codes, labor, and parts usage
  • Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, and risk assessment protocols
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards to support food safety, product quality, and contamination prevention
  • Communicate equipment status, maintenance needs, and potential concerns during shift handoffs to ensure smooth operations across teams



Qualification

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and equipment manuals.
  • Experience using power tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and gauges
  • Prior experience working with a CMMS system for maintenance tracking and inventory management.
  • Understanding of GMP standards and food safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an organized, safe work environment.
