Under general supervision of the Public Service Administrator, assigns, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates work and projects completed by Maintenance Technicians and Seasonal Workers. Assigns equipment and material resources, maintains records, and monitors work. Leads city crews to ensure safety and productivity. Trains employees and provides continuous performance feedback. Work performed by city crews includes street and utility operations, right-of-way beautification, mowing and landscaping, parks maintenance, public facility maintenance, infrastructure maintenance, and other repairs. Must be adaptable to a flexible work schedule.
Leads the work activities and jobs tasks of one or multiple city crews in the areas of public roadway, underground utility, facility, public land, parks, electrical, and traffic which includes construction, repair, and rehabilitation, replacement, and maintenance functions.
