Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Napoleon, OH 43545

Shift: 10:00 PM TO 6:00 AM

Employment Type: 1 Year Contract (Temp to Hire)


Summary: You will be responsible for initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning. ·



Daily tasks/duties and department interactions:

  • Coordinates maintenance activities with appropriate departments to plan and schedule required repairs and p.m.’s utilizing available time and personnel.
  • Procure equipment and specialized tools required to perform work.
  • Communicates with contractors directly on outsourced work and the performance expectations of that work.
  • Works with vendors to identify replacement components and new technology to improve productivity and throughput.
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by the PM program; testing systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components and parts.
  • Assist in all items associated with the quality, production, safety and DOS programs.
  • Maintains high standards for housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance.
  • Maintain daily timekeeping, work orders, and all records in regard to the maintenance program.
  • Ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with local and federal codes and regulations.



Experience Preferred:

  • Troubleshooting, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, robotics, welding and basic fabrication.
  • Minimum two to three years’ experience as a maintenance, electronic or robotics technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical experience is preferred.



Requirements:

  • 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or 5 years maintenance experience and Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and proven effectiveness in MTTF/MTBF reductions.
  • Technical experience of Journeymen level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to appropriately assess and manage risk factors.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Kanban.
  • Must have the ability to lead projects



Education Preferred:

  • High school degree or GED equivalent required
