RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor (12 hour night shift rotation) in our Portageville, Missouri facility!

Your Job

Lead a multi-craft maintenance team on a 12-hour rotating night shift (4 on / 4 off) supporting injection molding, chrome plating, and automated paint operations. You’ll oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure equipment reliability, and drive safe, efficient execution of all work. This role focuses on developing technicians, maintaining CMMS standards, and using data-driven problem solving to improve performance. You’ll lead with integrity, enforce high standards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What you Will do in Your Role

  • Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on your shift. Conduct LOTO spot checks, respond to incidents in accordance with facility policy, and hold technicians accountable to PPE and compliance standards across all process areas.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Direct, coach, and develop a multi-craft maintenance team on 2nd shift. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with each technician, and actively drive individual growth toward competency advancement.
  • Work Order Execution: Ensure all corrective and preventive work orders are executed accurately and documented completely in Maintenance Connection. Supervisors are accountable for work order quality — root cause evidence is required on every corrective work order.
  • PM Compliance: Own your shift's preventive maintenance completion rate. Manage scheduling proactively, document any deferred PMs with justification, and submit a monthly PM compliance audit report by the third Friday of each month.
  • KPI Management: Review and maintain equipment reliability KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability, and PM completion rate. Develop countermeasures for underperforming metrics and contribute to action plans when KPIs trend red.
  • Communication & Handoff: Conduct thorough shift handoffs — written and verbal — ensuring the incoming supervisor has full situational awareness. Attend weekly toolbox meetings, stewardship walks, and department communication meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring failures, process gaps, and inefficiency. Participate actively in PDCA-based CI initiatives and share best practices across rotations.

  • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems in a production setting
  • Familiarity with LOTO procedures, safety compliance, and PPE requirements
  • Ability to read and act on equipment data, work order history, and reliability metrics

What Will Put You Ahead
