Elayn Hunt Correctional Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Repairer to join our facility operations team. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of the institution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and capable of performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in a secure correctional environment.

Job Duties:
As a Maintenance Repairer 2, you will play an essential role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities by performing a variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks. In this role, you will:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility structures, equipment, and systems
- Assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and HVAC-related tasks as needed
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Follow all security protocols and work collaboratively with correctional staff
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, materials used, and completed tasks

- This position is a ‘when actually employed’ (WAE) position without benefits.
