Main responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician you will be ensuring the operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment and completing preventative maintenance. You prioritize the safety of yourself, your coworkers, and the company.

Our Maintenance Technicians are self-motivated and work with a sense of urgency. You work closely with Operations and the site’s many teams to increase mechanical uptime which is an integral part of the building process to produce high quality breads, buns, and rolls for customers all throughout Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. This position will be based in Richmond, CA. 

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications for repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and identify malfunctions.
  • Inspect and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Measure and adjust part dimensions as needed.
  • Communicate preventive maintenance needs and ensure compliance.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Complete daily maintenance paperwork and prepare equipment setups.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations. 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 plus years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing.
  • 1 plus years of experience with mechanical/electrical repair.
  • Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
  • LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred.
  • EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
  • Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments.
  • Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.
