Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager - $100k - $110k + bonus - Johnstown, OH

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Production Maintenance to lead maintenance strategy and execution across multiple production sites within a large-scale Food processing operation. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of production equipment, facilities, and site infrastructure, while driving efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic maintenance programs across multiple sites
• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance and facilities teams
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of production equipment and site infrastructure
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives (PM/PdM)
• Lead complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, animal welfare, and biosecurity standards
• Partner with Production, Quality, and EHS teams to align maintenance with operational goals
• Drive continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance cost optimization
• Oversee environmental systems (ventilation, temperature control, wastewater)
• Support specialized systems including manure handling and biosecurity stations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role
• Strong experience within poultry, agriculture, or similar production environments
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / TPM principles
• Experience with energy management and sustainability practices

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Certifications such as CMRP, CEM, or similar
• Experience managing maintenance across multiple sites or large-scale operations
