Maintenance Manager

Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-speed manufacturing environment. This role will oversee a team, drive equipment reliability, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical experience, exposure to blow molding, and the ability to lead both people and systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians (approx. 5 direct reports)
  • Drive equipment reliability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Own and improve PM programs and maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Manage maintenance budget and align with operational goals
  • Oversee and execute capital and continuous improvement projects
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and external vendors for technical support
  • Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and regulatory standards
  • Support automation and controls troubleshooting, including PLC systems
  • Communicate effectively across production, leadership, and technical teams


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams
  • Strong electrical background with ability to troubleshoot industrial systems
  • Experience with blow molding required
  • Experience in food, beverage or regulated manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, reliability, and root cause analysis
  • Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP or similar)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary $120K–$140K
