Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Lead to perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC preventative and reactive industrial maintenance tasks. This hands-on leadership role involves working with a variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gear sets, and more. As the go-to person for troubleshooting support, you'll lead a team of technicians in ensuring efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and PLCs.
  • Lead and support a team of technicians, providing troubleshooting support and guidance.
  • Read and interpret valve schematics, electrical schematics, and follow ladder logic.
  • Perform electrical maintenance up to 480v 3-phase and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

  • 5-10+ years of Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Experience.
  • 2+ years of Maintenance Lead experience.
  • Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and gears.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting from 12v to 480v 3-phase.
  • PLC troubleshooting skills, including reading and following ladder logic.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights up to 60 feet.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • PLC programming skills are a plus.
  • Mechatronics Certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with plumbing, welding, and Rockwell Tester.
  • Education or Journeyman certifications are beneficial.

Work Environment

Work across four plants with older, large-scale equipment that may require work in messy, dirty, or hot conditions. Be prepared to work with massive equipment and occasionally use a manlift to reach heights up to 60 feet for maintenance tasks.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mishawaka, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
