Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: Phoenix AZ

Type: W2 only

We need someone who can quickly understand our current Mobius (a product from Rocket Software) installation on mainframe and how it’s used for archiving and distributing data from and to multiple sources and recommend a home-grown solution that can relace the features (not necessarily the product). The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Mobius, if not these are the minimum skills required for someone to learn Mobius on the job:

• Mainframe application Development (COBOL, JCL, VSAM)
• Batch monitoring & Scheduling
• Performance/health check (CPU/memory usage)

Desired additional skills:

• REXX
• Assembler
