We have an Urgent requirement for a Mainframe Admin at San Antonio, TX (100% Onsite) Long-Term Contract.
Role: Mainframe Admin
Location: San Antonio, TX (100% Onsite)
Client is not looking for a Mainframe developer or Tester. The resource is expected to have extensive knowledge and experience working on Mainframe mainly on administration of Mainframe as a platform.
Role/Skill: Mainframe System Administrator/Mainframe Infrastructure
Expert Job Descriptions:
- Mainframe z/OS Admin responsible for managing IBM z/OS operating system In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS operating systems and infrastructure
- Mainframe technical sustainment experience (i.e. zOS version upgrades)
- Experienced in installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of z/OS operating systems and related infrastructure
- Expert knowledge in Mainframe Security & Compliance, security protocols (e.g., Top Secret/TSS), and ensuring data security.
- Able to collaborate and engage with infrastructure teams to resolve complex, interdependent issue
- Extensive knowledge/experience on the following: Z/OS CICS DB2 Easytrieve ChangeMan, Endevor MSUs MQ ESP, dSeries Systemware Content Cloud System IPL
