Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Adjunct Faculty

The Adjunct Faculty Magnetic Resonance Imaging will work closely with the department Coordinator to teach courses in the MRI program. Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching, and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program. Teaching experience MRI; Teaching faculty will:
  • Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled times.
  • Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.
  • Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in MRI and
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR credential and,
  • Have 2 years of clinical experience
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least three 3-5 years’ experience in teaching on a college level and affiliated with an accredited MRI program. Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.
STATUS/SALARY:
This is a regular adjunct faculty position with salary to be determined by the adjunct faculty union contract.
