We are seeking a skilled Machinist responsible for operating CNC machines in a job shop setting. The position involves manufacturing complex components with tight tolerances, ranging from small to large, from print to delivery. On-the-job training is available for selected candidates.
Responsibilities
This is a contract-to-direct role with opportunities for career advancement. The company offers significant shift premiums and extensive training in unfamiliar areas. You will gain valuable experience working on some of the largest mills in the country, enhancing your skill set and professional growth.
Work Environment
The work environment is a job shop manufacturing floor with exposure to oil, dirt, debris, fumes, moving machinery, and occasional high decibels, all within a climate-controlled setting. Personal protective equipment is mandatory. We offer positions on both third shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:15 PM to 4:45 AM with a 16% shift premium) and day shift (Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM). This role provides the opportunity to work in a large manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art equipment, producing parts for helicopters, naval ships, and large vehicles. The shop builds very large fixtures and components with mills capable of setting up steel that is 20 yards wide and 20 feet deep.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00/yr.
