Machining Team Member - 3rd shift

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I (3rd shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Operate production equipment safely and accurately to meet quality and productivity expectations under direct guidance.
  • Strengthen the safety culture by stopping work for hazards, reporting incidents immediately, and consistently using proper protective equipment.
  • Reduce risk by correcting hazards within your control and helping create an environment where everyone looks out for one another.
  • Protect product quality through strict adherence to standard work, process documentation, and inspection procedures.
  • Minimizing defects and cost by identifying non‑conforming material early and raising issues before they affect customers. Identify and report all non-confirming material before they affect customers.
  • Support reliable delivery by operating manual and automated equipment at required cycle times and meet daily production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency, safety, and equipment performance.
  • Contribute to a strong team environment by communicating clearly, completing required training, and actively participating in improvements to safety, quality, and workflow.
