Job Title: Machine Operator – Saw & Prep (1st Shift)

What You’ll Do

• Cut raw materials (tube, bar, flat stock, extrusion) on a horizontal band saw
• Operate supporting equipment: vertical band saw, tube beader, drill press, disc sander, manual mill (basic ops)
• Read drawings and cut lists; verify dimensions using calipers/tape
• Deburr, sand, and finish parts; label and stage parts for downstream operations
• Complete first-piece and in-process checks per ISO 9001 procedures
• Keep a clean and safe work area; follow LOTO and machine guarding requirements
• Collaborate with welding, machining, and shipping to keep work flowing

• You’re accurate on cuts, measure twice, cut once, and document checks
• You keep the saw area organized, safe, and audit-ready
• You communicate clearly with teammates and move materials efficiently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred
• Able to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, tape measure, micrometers a plus)
• Comfortable standing for 8–10 hours and lifting 25–50 lbs. (up to 75 lbs. with assistance)

Schedule

• 1st Shift, full-time/ 6am - 2:30pm
