Machine Operator – Manufacturing & Packaging (Piscataway, NJ)

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support high-speed packaging operations, working with carton forming and cartoning equipment that helps deliver products efficiently and safely.
📌 Schedule & Training
🌙 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Training on 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM for 3 weeks
📈 Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential
📌 Compensation
💰 $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience
📌 What you’ll be doing
🏭 Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment
🔧 Perform changeovers and machine adjustments (training provided)
🛠️ Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and support preventative maintenance
Ensure consistent product quality and minimize downtime
🧼 Maintain clean, safe, and audit-ready work areas
🤝 Collaborate with teammates to maintain strong production flow
📌 What we’re looking for
📦 At least 1 year of experience in packaging, manufacturing, pharma, or similar high-speed production environments
📘 Willingness to learn and work with machinery
🧠 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
👥 Ability to work independently and in a team
➗ Basic math and computer skills
🌎 English fluency required; Spanish fluency is a strong plus
