Machine Operator/Packager

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator/Packager to join their team. As a Machine Operator/Packager, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator/Packager

Location: Owatonna, MN

Pay Range: $20.5

Shift: 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

• Safely set-up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output
• Apply knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions
• Ensure high-quality goods are produced by checking for defects or malfunctions
• Follow safety policies, including wearing personal protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar role
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
