Job Description
The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating feed manufacturing equipment to receive raw ingredients and produce high‑quality feed according to company specifications. This role supports day‑to‑day feed mill operations including production, material handling, quality control, housekeeping, and basic maintenance, while adhering to strict safety, PPE, and biosecurity standards. The Feed Mill Operator works with minimal supervision and plays a key role in maintaining smooth, reliable plant operations.
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, production, agriculture, or industrial environments
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, production systems)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable following safety‑driven processes and procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Forklift experience (certification a plus)
• Prior feed mill, grain handling, pelleting, or manufacturing experience
