Machine Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in Brockport, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and running a single repack line, performing machine change-overs, and assisting with repairs. This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality products in accordance with safety and quality standards. Multiple shift opportunities are available, including a 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run a single repack line per Manufacturer's and Departmental Specifications.
• Perform machine change-overs for product run changes as determined by the production schedule.
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to machinery.
• Assist shift mechanics with major machinery repairs as needed.
• Ensure case counts on all line runs and verify their accuracy with the finished product dock checker.
• Verify metal detector accuracy.
• Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures, always working in a safe manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.

• Experience in machine operation and general production.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours.

• Operation experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of BROCKPORT, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
