Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide vital direct patient care, significantly contributing to patient well-being and recovery as an integral part of our compassionate healthcare team.

Every day, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform prescribed treatments, and meticulously document care. You will collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans, ensuring a seamless and high-quality patient experience.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and excellent communication. Your compassionate demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential.

  • Participates or performs direct patient care.
  • Makes regular rounds of patients assigned to her, recognizes the change in patient status and reports changes to immediate supervisor and initiate appropriate treatment.
  • Completes patient care plan as needed.
  • Is aware of the psychological needs as well as the physical needs of patient and family rendering assistance where possible and showing empathetic understanding of individual patient differences.
  • Recognizes life threatening situations and initiates life saving measures where the need is apparent, including CPR.
  • Promotes and participates in patient education and rehabilitation.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
  • One year experience in Long Term Care and/or Subacute
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - CPR
  • Expanded IV Therapy Course

  • Acute care experience
