Role Description This full-time, on-site Luxury Hotel Restaurant Assistant General Manager role is located in Minneapolis, MN. The Assistant General Manager will support daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth service, and consistent brand standards in a luxury hotel environment. Responsibilities include overseeing front-of-house and back-of-house teams, monitoring floor operations, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining a strong presence during service. The role will assist with scheduling, training, and performance management, as well as supporting inventory control, cost management, and coordination with culinary, bar, and hotel leadership. The Assistant General Manager will also help develop and implement service standards, drive revenue and profitability, and foster a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L Management and Budgeting to support revenue growth and cost control.
- Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of delivering high-end guest experiences.
- Experience in Hiring, training, and developing diverse hospitality teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or fine dining setting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards within restaurant operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
