Role Overview:
The LSA Oversight and Project Based Voucher Manager contributes to fulfilling the IHCDA mission and meeting strategic and annual operation and program goals by overseeing day-to-day processes of Local Subcontracting Agencies (LSAs) for the Housing Choice Voucher and Project Based Voucher programs.
As a member of the Real Estate Development Department, the LSA Oversight and Project Based Voucher Manager takes the lead in identifying areas for improvement in management of LSAs for the Housing Choice Voucher programs and PBV portfolio, promotes customer service and a continuous improvement philosophy among employees, and demonstrates leadership in interacting with all constituents, both internal and external.

Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred in finance, business, public administration, public policy, planning, real estate development, or social work.
Preferred Experience:
• 2-4 years relevant job experience in the field of affordable housing, supportive housing, rental assistance administration, real estate development, real estate finance, multifamily property management, community development, or other experience related to dealing with issues of affordable housing and/or homelessness.
• Experience with Housing Choice Vouchers, Section 8 Project Based Rental Assistance, or other federal rental assistance programs, with applicable trainings and certifications
Required Certifications:
• Certification as a Housing Choice Voucher Specialist, and NSPIRE Inspector required within first year of employment
