Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Nursing Responsibilities include:

• Implementing a resident plan of care.

• Performing direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations

• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

• Delegating suitable components of the care plan to the nursing assistants, provides guidance and supervision when necessary

• Consulting with and validating data

• Recording pertinent information in the patient record

• Identifying and evaluating the resident's response to health problems and treatments

• Communicating residents care needs to others involved in the care

• Assuming responsibility for professional growth and development

• Nursing License required
