Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Our high‑acuity Cardiac Telemetry unit serves patients with:

• STEMIs
• Post–cardiac catheterization care
• CHF & arrhythmias
• Blood pressure management
• Stroke care

✅ 1:4 nurse‑to‑patient ratio
✅ Patient Care Associates on every shift
✅ Strong focus on teamwork, communication, and respect

✅ What We’re Looking For

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

Licensure

• Current LPN license in the hiring state (or eligible upon hire)

Experience

• New grads and experienced LPNs welcome!

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) required or within 30 days of hire
• LPN‑IV Certification completed or within 3 months of hire
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit needs:
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Other unit‑specific certifications

Physical Requirements

• Standing/walking majority of shift
• Bending, stooping, lifting, and repositioning patients with assistance
• Push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
