A client of Insight Global is seeking an Expeditor Specialist to join their team in Jacksonville! In this role, candidates will confirm receipt of dropship purchase orders with suppliers and ensure shipments are completed on time. Candidates will monitor order status, proactively follow up on critical or overdue materials, and maintain consistent communication with vendors and carriers throughout the shipping process.
This position requires identifying and escalating potential delays to the sales team and relevant stakeholders, providing timely delivery status updates to inside sales, outside sales, and customers, and collaborating closely with internal teams to resolve delivery issues and expedite shipments as needed. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. This is hourly based pay. Base hourly ranges from $20/hr - $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Required Skills & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard business software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
