Expanding award winning manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their Corporate Logistics and Transportation team. Responsibilities:

• Contact the appropriate carriers including railcars, trucking companies
• Adjust customer orders when necessary
• Reroute shipments
• Processing returns in order to return products to appropriate location
• Track and update shipments in customers portal
• Communicating with external and internal customers regarding shipments
• Monitor and communicate with management inappropriate charges from carriers
• Communicate transportation cost with customers
• Maintain and create reports pertaining to transportation costs in Excel
• Provide management with weekly carrier "on-time" data
• Process payments for carriers
• Manager and process all freight claims

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Microsoft Office Excel
• Excellent communication skills both written or verbal
