SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator supports daily transportation, shipping, and receiving operations to ensure the efficient and accurate movement of raw materials and finished goods. This role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, manages documentation, updates ERP systems, and collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party logistics partners to maintain smooth supply chain operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate outbound shipments for customer orders, internal transfers, and production requirements

• Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, and other required paperwork

• Arrange transportation with carriers including parcel, LTL, FTL, and international providers

• Monitor shipment status and communicate updates or delays to internal stakeholders

• Coordinate inbound deliveries of materials, packaging, and supplies

• Verify documentation prior to receipt and ensure all required paperwork is complete

• Communicate delivery schedules with warehouse and third-party logistics partners

• Track inbound shipments and follow up on delays or discrepancies

• Serve as a point of contact for third-party logistics providers to support receiving, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment

• Communicate shipment plans, special handling requirements, and delivery expectations

• Address and resolve shipment or inventory discrepancies and escalate issues as needed

• Enter and maintain shipment data in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy of tracking details, costs, and delivery timelines

• Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and shipments

• Support reporting, data tracking, and logistics performance metrics

• Ensure compliance with applicable shipping regulations and internal quality standards

• Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation for all shipping and receiving activities

• Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and improve service levels

• Support development of standard operating procedures and workflow improvements


QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse coordination

• Experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment preferred

• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of shipping processes and transportation concepts

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
