Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material handling, shipping, and receiving processes while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee daily warehouse activities including picking, staging, packing, and material movement.
  • Support crating and uncrating operations, ensuring safe handling of pumps and assemblies.
  • Assist with test floor setup, including hooking up pumps and preparing units for testing as needed.
  • Complete all shipping paperwork and transactions in Odoo, including carrier scheduling, labeling, and documentation.
  • Learn and perform receiving functions, including verifying deliveries, documenting discrepancies, and entering inventory into the system.
  • Collaborate with manager and operations team to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Maintain accurate counts and storage of inventory items.
  • Support cycle counting and inventory audits as directed.
  • Identify and report any storage or safety issues immediately.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper use of equipment and safe material handling.
  • Ensure crating, storage, and material movements meet company safety standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions or hazards promptly.
  • Provide coverage and support for warehouse associates as required.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff on procedures and best practices.
  • Uphold standards for safety, quality, and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and reliability.
  • Maintain professionalism when interacting with other departments and vendors.
  • Learn and master receiving and shipping processes both physically and within Odoo.
  • Take initiative in identifying areas for process improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
