ABOUT THE ROLE

Manage all aspects of Supply chain activities: reception, handling, storage & shipping. Including warehousing of raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods. Oversee warehouse Supervisors, Inventory and Logistics Coordinators.

KEY RESPONSABILITY INCLUDE

Supervise: Provide direction and support for all teams, (warehouse/ logistics/ inventory coordinators), including:

  • Training & Development.
  • Administer company policies (Food & EE safety, Quality, Regulatory, Disciplinary, GMPs).
  • Manage warehouse employee’s tasks to ensure adherence to daily in/out bound transportation schedule & receipt of goods.
  • Coordinate all warehousing activities with the following functions: Traffic, Production, QA.
  • Monitor warehouse material movement transactions to ensure proper recording in SAP.
  • Supervise inventory accuracy & cycle counts.
  • Ensure conformance of shipment with bill of lading. Validate outbound shipments for quality & accuracy to prevent complaints.
  • On time delivery of material to production line.
  • Maintain shuttle schedule.
  • Maintain MSS records and warehouse cleanliness to meet BRC standards
  • Optimize floor space utilization .
  • Report all packaging requirements to Logistics Coordinator.
  • Perform all other related duties as required.

Inventory Management : Ensure inventory accuracy: work directly with finance controller on investigating & balancing MUV

  • Optimize cycle count process.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy of raw material, packaging, finished goods, rework
  • Report and explain all inventory variances / coordinate the control and variances of inventory differences.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of data/ report and explain inventory variances.
  • Direct involvement in compliance audits- mock recalls, inventory audits, semi-annual inventory wall to wall audits.

Finance

  • Knows and understands the financial reports related to his or her local activities.
  • Works with Plant Director on the preparation of the labor and expenses budget.
  • Explains monthly variances to his or her budget.
  • Analyzes financial impact of decisions and prioritizes efforts.

General

  • Fleet management.
  • Budget adherence (Labor/ Equipment/ Capital).
  • Leads and participates in operations/site project teams as required.
  • Develops, tracks and publishes weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators.
  • Weekly reporting on delivery performance and other corporate accounts activities.
  • Perform all other related duties as required.
  • Ability to adhere to GMP practices and food safety requirements with correct follow-up to any quality or food safety concern.

ABOUT YOU

  • 6+ years in warehouse operations with emphasis on food industry desired.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP and WMS appropriate modules.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel required. ERP or related experience needed, SAP experience is a plus.
  • Leadership experience required (supervision/management).
  • Strong communication skills & customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
