Overview

LOGISTICS ANALYST (TCE)

Bowhead seeks a Logistics Analystto join our Tactical Communications and Electromagnetic Warfare (TCE) in Stafford, VA. The Logistics Analyst will lead and direct Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support for systems and equipment, to include ILS element planning to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct the administrative and technical activities required to develop, review, update, and deliver logistics acquisition documentation (i.e., Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Fielding Plans, Technical Manuals, Facilities Impact Reports, Item Unique Identification Plans, Disposal Plans, SL-3s, I-Type documents) and coordinate, host, and participate in logistics events and activities (i.e., LOG Demos, Product Support Analyses, Independent Logistics Assessments, Audits, Test Events).
  • Possess active accounts for various logistics information systems (i.e., Total Force Structure Management System, Total Life Cycle Cost Tool Operational Support Tool, Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps) and review information and recommend updates as required to ensure data fields are accurate.
  • Coordinate, conduct, and document validation/verification events for all I-Type documents, Technical Manuals, and other logistics products.
  • Provide in-depth review of Product Quality Deficiency Reports and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Identify, track, and report Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages issues to determine impacts to long-lead times, supply availability, and part obsolescence.
  • Leverage knowledge of the 12 integrated product support elements to inform program logistics assessments, supply chain management, sparing levels, and reorder points.
  • Analyze supply and maintenance readiness data to identify readiness issues; recommend corrective actions and readiness improvements; and develop program readiness assessments.
  • Review and monitor the program Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), and deliver comprehensive FRACAS reports as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Six or more (6+) years of professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Department of War and Marine Corps logistics information systems (ie. Total Force Structure Management System, Total Life Cycle Cost Tool Operational Support Tool, Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps).
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (ie. MS Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Experience supporting government or military environmentsis highly desired.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
