Locums Dermatology Physician Assistant (3 Month assignment)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a 3-month locum engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient dermatology setting. You will work alongside our clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of dermatological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of medical skin conditions
• Perform procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other common dermatologic treatments
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR in a timely manner
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive skin care
• Maintain patient flow and uphold practice quality standards

Requirements

• Current PA-C or NP licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in dermatology
• DEA license and relevant state prescribing authority
• Proficiency with EHR systems
• Strong procedural skills in outpatient dermatology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding time

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with cosmetic dermatology (injectables, lasers) is a plus
• Prior locum experience preferred
• Board certification (NCCPA for PAs, ANCC or AANP for NPs)
