As a Lobby Receptionist (first impression specialist) in Consumer and Community Banking-Wealth Management, you are the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. You create a welcoming, professional lobby experience by delivering exceptional service, maintaining attention to detail, and ensuring each interaction leaves a positive, lasting impression. You will support daily office activity by coordinating check-ins, answering questions, issuing temporary access when needed, and partnering closely with internal teams to ensure a safe, seamless in-office experience.
Job responsibilities
- Welcome, register, and check in clients and visitors arriving for meetings and events within the JPMA office lobby/reception area
- Provide concierge-level support by answering questions, giving directions, and sharing relevant office information
- Support employees as needed (e.g., facilitating temporary access/badges when building access support is required)
- Follow all building and security procedures to maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment; proactively escalate issues using a “see something, say something” approach
- Deliver first-class service by consistently exceeding lobby reception standards and anticipating needs
- Prepare for daily activity by reviewing scheduled meetings and events using event and visitor management systems
- Collaborate with partner teams (various JPMA partners from different regions and headquarters) to enhance the overall in-office and visitor experience
- Complete miscellaneous tasks and service-improvement projects that raise team standards and support operational excellence
- Maintain schedule flexibility, including early mornings or late evenings as business needs require
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in high-end reception, concierge, hospitality, or client-facing services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, welcoming presence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and manage varied personalities while remaining professional and composed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to work across different locations throughout the campus as needed
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with event, room, and/or visitor management systems
- Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
Note: This role requires five days in the office (Mon-Fri) and will not support Hybrid option
