Litigation Attorney

First Chair Litigation Attorney (Commercial & Estate Litigation)

Seeking an experienced First Chair Litigation Attorney to lead complex commercial and estate litigation matters from inception through trial. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong courtroom presence and the ability to manage cases independently while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead counsel on commercial and estate litigation matters
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial
• Develop case strategy, conduct depositions, and appear in court
• Advise clients on risk, strategy, and case outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams and oversee junior attorneys as needed

Qualifications:

• J.D. and admission to the New York State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience, with first chair trial experience preferred
• Strong background in commercial and/or estate litigation
• Excellent writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
