Litigation Attorney – Insurance Defense

Summary

Seeking a mid-level to senior attorney who can independently manage litigation matters, has strong insurance defense experience, and is comfortable handling court work, depositions, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases from start to finish
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents
• Handle written discovery (propounding and responding)
• Attend court hearings and depositions
• Work with clients, insurance carriers, and expert witnesses
• Analyze case details and provide reports
• Assist in trial preparation, including first and second chair opportunities
• Conduct site inspections as needed

Qualifications

• Active member of the California State Bar
• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience
• Prior insurance defense experience required
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
