Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense

We are working with an Award Winning Insurance Defense Firm, looking for a Litigation Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 3+ years of experience, with previous Premises Liability, General Liability experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• 2+ years of insurance defense experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Connecticut

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 140k-180k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
