Let me ask you a direct question-

If the right role crossed your desk tomorrow.... what would it have to offer for you to even consider it?

What about this?

Our client is hiring attorneys who don’t just want to handle files-they want to own outcomes, guide strategy, a seat at the table (2nd chair!), and move quickly toward partnership. Some seek to build a book! This firm has a structured design to help attorneys do just that!

Real Work: Major healthcare systems, entertainment venues, and government entities. The expectation is just as real: get into the courtroom, try cases, and build client trust on high-stakes matters.

From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor and given meaningful, front-line responsibility-not back-burner work. High performers are recognized early, advance quickly, and step into leadership with a clear, accelerated path to partnership.

What Sets This Role Apart:

  • Immediate courtroom exposure, including trial work alongside partners
  • 4-8 trials/year and 4-8 arbitrations/year (if it’s your case, you are second chair)
  • True mentorship with hands-on partner access
  • Hybrid schedule with flexibility and no cap on PTO
  • Competitive base + bi-annual billing based bonuses + annual performance bonus

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–6 years of insurance defense experience in a law firm
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload and communicate with carriers and clients
  • Strong litigation foundation: discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiation
  • Active California Bar membership (in good standing)
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Los Angeles / El Segundo

Core Skills & Experience:

  • Insurance Defense Litigation
  • General Liability, Professional Liability, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation
  • Discovery, Depositions, Pre-Trial & Arbitration Preparation
  • Motion practice (MSJs, Motions to Compel, Motions to Dismiss), pleadings, briefs

Practice Areas (experience in one or more required):

  • Civil Rights Defense
  • Employment Litigation / Employment Defense
  • Privacy Litigation
  • Catastrophic Personal Injury
  • Premises Liability
  • Elder Abuse Defense
  • Legal / Professional Malpractice
  • Medical Malpractice

What You’ll Gain:

  • Early case ownership and progression to full case management
  • Trial and arbitration participation-if you prepare the case, you try it
  • Direct client interaction and reporting responsibility
  • Close mentorship from supervising and income partners
  • A faster, more transparent path to partnership than traditional models

The Bottom Line:

This is a trial-driven environment built for attorneys who want faster growth, real courtroom experience, and a clear path to leadership.
