Litigation Associate

Offices: Los Angeles; New York

Overview:

Our client is seeking associates with 3–6 years of litigation experience to join its litigation practice. The team handles complex disputes across multiple industries, including business litigation, white collar defense, consumer protection, employment, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, intellectual property, patent matters, and privacy/data security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Manage discovery and case preparation
• Take and defend depositions
• Interview witnesses
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Prepare and argue motions
• Assist with trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice areas

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of litigation experience (trial exposure preferred)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
• Experience drafting motions and handling depositions
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Active bar membership in the relevant jurisdiction
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
