Overview:
A respected Midwest-based law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney with 3–7 years of experience to handle complex construction and commercial litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and hearings
• Draft legal briefs, motions, and conduct in-depth legal research
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with internal teams
• Handle construction law, commercial litigation, and liability-related matters
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts
Qualifications:
• 3–7 years of litigation experience (construction law preferred)
• Background in commercial litigation; insurance or design liability experience is a plus
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active State Bar of Michigan membership (in good standing)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
