Litigation Associate Attorney

A well-established Nashville law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to manage a sophisticated civil caseload, mostly in medical malpractice defense. This role is designed for a self-motivated attorney ready to take the lead on depositions, substantive motions, and trial strategy within a collaborative, mid-sized environment.

The Role

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial.
• Draft high-level briefs, motions, and legal research.
• Lead discovery efforts, including taking and defending depositions.
• Provide direct client counsel and manage case strategy.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of civil litigation experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Tennessee law license.
• Kentucky-licensed attorneys looking to relocate to the Nashville area are highly encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional writing skills and a proactive, "case-owner" mentality.
