Litigation Assistant
Hybrid
Must have at least 4 yrs. civil litigation exp.
Sometimes your dream job just walks into court… and hands you a perfectly tabbed binder.
Our client, a highly respected law firm, is looking for a Litigation Practice Assistant (LPA) who thrives in the organized chaos of litigation and knows how to keep everything—and everyone—on track. This is not a “sit quietly and type” role. This is mission control.
What You’ll Actually Do (aka Where You Shine) as a Litigation Assistant
- Draft, revise, and polish everything from pleadings to PowerPoints (yes, even the last-minute “can you just tweak this?” requests)
- Format court filings like a pro using CCC Macros and Best Authority—tables of contents and authorities included, of course
- Navigate local, state, and federal court rules without breaking a sweat
- Handle e-filing and ensure documents land exactly where they need to
- Coordinate service of process, subpoenas
- Build impeccable case files and binders—because details matter
- Partner with Records to maintain clean, accessible files (no document left behind)
- Support municipal law matters—staff reports, ordinances, agendas, and more
What you bring to the table as a Litigation Assistant:
- At least 4 years of civil litigation experience, preferably from a law firm
- Construction experience is preferred
If the idea of running a litigation desk like a well-oiled machine sounds appealing, this may be the role that finally gets noticed for all the right reasons.
Let’s talk.
